Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional in a supportive K-12 educational environment. This contract position is located in Pawtucket, RI, and is aimed at enhancing the communication skills of students through dedicated speech-language pathology services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students overall development.
- Deliver direct therapy services in alignment with IEP goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and progress made.
Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island speech-language pathologist license.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within a school setting, is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
