Job Description
A full-time contract opportunity is available for three skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-8th grade students in a middle school setting located in Peoria, AZ. This role offers a full school year assignment with a dynamic caseload designed to challenge and enrich your clinical expertise. The position is ideal for practitioners passionate about pediatric speech therapy within educational environments.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license in Arizona
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations and previous school-based experience is advantageous
- Eligible for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or completed CFY acceptable
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students in grades K through 8
- Develop individualized treatment plans that address student goals and facilitate communication skills
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and policies
- Participate in professional development and continuing education to enhance clinical skills
