Job Description
An opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional to provide speech-language services in an early childhood setting. This role focuses on supporting preschool-aged students with diverse communication needs, including the use of assistive technology.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Active Indiana SLP License
- Credentials as a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with young children
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
Location:
- Peru, IN
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
- Provide support in the use of AAC devices when necessary
