This contract position, covering a maternity leave, offers the chance to work full time, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 3:15 PM, until June 17, 2025. Located in Philadelphia, PA, this role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting the diverse communication needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Expertise in pediatric speech therapy
- Experience in school settings
- Proficient in conducting therapy sessions and developing IEPs
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Current Pennsylvania clearances
Location:
- Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance students' communication skills
- Conduct and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding student progress
