An opportunity exists for a skilled professionals to provide critical support in a dynamic middle school environment. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional ready to contribute to the educational and communicative development of students from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with middle school or high school students.
- Ability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as per state regulations.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to an SLPA.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes.
