Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school systems
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
Location: Pittsford, NY, approximately 27 minutes from Rochester.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Conduct makeup sessions as needed, ensuring continuity of care
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication skills
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
