Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnosis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Location: Plainfield, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services
- Provide direct therapy to students, using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication goals within the classroom
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support
