Job Description
Seeking a licensed candidate for a part-time position in Plano, TX, with a focus on supporting elementary students. This role involves working approximately 10 hours per week across two campuses, addressing the diverse needs of a manageable caseload ranging from articulation to language delays.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly in a school setting
- Ability to pass a background check and work on-site
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Plano, TX
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
