An exciting opportunity awaits for candidates looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students. This position is based in Poquoson, VA, and spans the full semester, providing the chance to work across four school sites in an itinerant role.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Virginia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience in teletherapy is a plus.
- Familiarity with school settings, particularly K-12.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Location:
- Poquoson, VA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs.
- Deliver therapy services in-person at various school locations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and outcomes.
