Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams and families
- Knowledge of current best practices in speech and language therapy
Location:
- Port Saint Lucie, FL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide training and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
