An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This part-time position is located in Port Saint Lucie, FL, and involves working with students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Clinical Fellow Year (SLP-CFY) supervision experience preferred
- Experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students
- Valid Florida state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Location:
- Port Saint Lucie, Florida
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with educators and other staff to support students' communication needs
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
