This contract position is based in Portland, OR, within an engaging elementary school environment, focusing solely on a diverse caseload of 40 students ranging from 1st to 4th grade.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Prior experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Location:
- Portland, OR (Elementary School)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions and evaluations in alignment with the school schedule.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student needs.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of student progress and IEP outcomes.
- Develop tailored therapeutic strategies to assist students in achieving their speech and language goals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
