Job Description
In a vibrant educational environment in Pueblo, CO, professionals are sought to provide vital speech-language pathology services to elementary students. This full-time role involves working with a diverse caseload of 35-40 students, primarily focusing on therapy, consultation, and small group services within one to two schools.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with various therapy techniques and educational resources
Location:
- Pueblo, Colorado
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to create and implement IEPs
- Deliver therapy services in individual and small group settings
- Conduct consultations with teachers and parents to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Follow school schedules and maintain availability during school hours
