A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled speech-language pathologist to support students from elementary to middle school levels. This full-time position is based in Puyallup, WA, and focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students for the current school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington state SLP license
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders
- Strong understanding of K-12 curriculum and speech/language development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students with diverse needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
- CFs seeking supervision are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for students requiring speech and language services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
- Provide direct therapy to students and monitor their progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
