Job Description
A skilled candidate is sought for a very part-time position in a K-12 educational setting located in Renton, WA. This role requires a dedicated professional to provide essential communication support to students, ensuring that their individual needs are met effectively.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Provide consultation and guidance on speech and language development to staff and families.
