An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide specialized SLP services in an educational setting. This part-time position requires a dedicated individual to support approximately four K-8th grade students, focusing on their unique communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Location:
- Rio Rico, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by state regulations.
- Conduct therapy sessions in a supportive and engaging manner to foster effective communication skills.
