An opportunity exists for an experienced professional to contribute to a dynamic K-12 educational environment in Riverside, CA. This contract position spans the school year, allowing for impactful engagements with students requiring speech and language support.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location: Riverside, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs that address individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Conduct screenings and follow-up evaluations to monitor student development
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
