Candidates can apply for either full-time or part-time roles, provided they are available onsite.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Experience working in school settings, preferred.
- Familiarity with IEPs and various speech and language disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
Location:
- Riverview, FL and surrounding areas in Central and West County.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on speech and language development.
