Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in SLP or related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a SLP.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in a K-12 setting.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students requiring support.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
