Exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to support students in a dynamic educational environment. This position is based in Rockford, IL, and involves working with both middle and high school students, focusing on their diverse communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or in-process IL state licensure
- Professional Educator License (PEL) certification
- Experience in school settings, particularly with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to implement effective therapy plans and monitor student progress
- Clinical Fellows will be considered; must have schools or pediatric experience prior
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
- Conduct therapy sessions in line with school schedules and policies
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
