This contract position, located in Rockford, IL, focuses on providing essential support and services to students, fostering their communication skills and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Active CCC-SLP licensure in Illinois
- PEL Certification
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents
Location: Rockford, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support students communicative needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions, catering to a diverse student population
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
