Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for professionals specializing in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. This position is located in Round Rock, TX, for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year and involves working full-time with K-12 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with identified speech and language needs.
- Attend and participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as required.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse student populations.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff and parents.
