Job Description
An engaging opportunity is available for a skilled SLP with a focus on pediatric and school settings. This position is situated within a K-12 school environment, and involves working 40 hours per week across two schools, primarily with K-5 students.
Qualifications:
- Certification (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatrics, particularly in school settings (SLP - Pediatrics)
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with Pre-K to high school students is a plus
Location: Saint Cloud, MN
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students needs
- Manage and monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students
