An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during the extended school year in a K-12 setting. This contract position is based in San Francisco, CA, and is ideal for professionals committed to enhancing the communication skills of students from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
- Monitor and document student progress through regular assessments and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
