An opportunity has arisen for experienced specialists to support students in an engaging elementary school setting in San Francisco, CA. This contract position is designed for professionals dedicated to fostering communication skills in children with mild to moderate disabilities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with pull-out service models
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
Location: San Francisco, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to each student's requirements
- Collaborate with special education teams to support students in both resource program and special day class settings
- Maintain documentation of student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Engage in regular communication with parents and educators to promote student success
