An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional eager to make a meaningful impact within a K-12 educational setting. This position is located in San Jose, CA, and involves working collaboratively to support a diverse student population with varying needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential
  • CCC certification or CFY status
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Familiarity with case management and IEP processes
  • Preferred experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
  • SEIS experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 60-70 students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies
  • Supervise and work alongside two onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and engage with families regarding student development

Location:

  • San Jose, CA, with additional responsibilities at a site in Redwood City
