Job Description
A dynamic educational environment in San Rafael, CA, is seeking qualified SLPs to support elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities. This full-time role focuses on providing tailored speech and language services through a pull-out model, helping approximately 53 students across two full-time positions.
Qualifications:
- Certifcation (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education settings
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and effective intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location: San Rafael, California
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Provide direct services in a pull-out model, supporting students in both resource program and special day class settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive educational strategies
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records of services provided
