Job Description
This position offers a unique opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K-12 school setting, located in San Tan Valley, AZ. This contract role is available from ASAP through the End of the School Year (EOSY), with a 32-hour workweek focused on delivering impactful support to students across grades K-12.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Experience working in a school environment is preferred but not required
- Credentials such as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and experience with pediatric populations, healthcare settings, teletherapy, and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Deliver direct therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
