Job Description
An important assignment in an elementary school setting is seeking a full-time specialist. This role involves providing vital support to a diverse caseload of 30 elementary-age students, focusing on their communication needs from June 16th to July 11th and continuing through the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and address the speech and language needs of assigned students
- Develop and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Provide consultation and guidance to staff regarding speech and language development
