An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional with expertise in speech-language pathology, particularly within an educational setting. Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy
- Familiarity with school settings, particularly elementary schools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other staff
- Competence in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Location:
- Sauk Rapids, MN
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication goals
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as required
- Conduct screenings and recommend further evaluation when necessary
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and faculty regarding progress and needs
