Job Description
An opportunity exists for a skilled SLP to support students in a K-12 educational environment. This position is based in Sauk Rapids, MN, where the focus will be on providing comprehensive speech and language services across two schools. The role is set for 40 hours per week, working primarily with K-5 students, with the possibility of expanding to additional grade levels as new openings arise.
Qualifications:
- Certification (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in pediatric settings, specifically within schools.
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and their treatments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
Location: Sauk Rapids, MN
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions to facilitate speech development.
