This contract position for the 2025-2026 school year focuses on providing essential speech-language services to students, fostering their communication skills and overall academic success.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are encouraged to apply
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational policies and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individual education plans (IEPs) and implement appropriate interventions
Location: Seaside, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students on your caseload
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student support
- Educate and engage families regarding their childs speech and language development
