Job Description
Procare Therapy is seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time virtual school-based position serving students in the state of Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about making a difference in students' lives while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in a school setting, and the ability to effectively manage a caseload in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students via teletherapy, addressing speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational and communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and team meetings as required.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, particularly in the context of teletherapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Washington state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
- Strong technical skills and comfort with teletherapy platforms and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered care.
