Job Description
A very part-time candidate is sought for a K-12 setting in Seattle, WA. This position requires a dedicated professional to provide vital communication support to students, ensuring they receive the necessary resources for their academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Monitor and document students progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs.
