Job Description

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a very part-time position in a K-12 educational setting located in Seattle, WA. This role encompasses providing essential communication support to students, tailored to their individual needs, for 2-5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of therapy techniques and best practices in speech-language pathology

Location: Seattle, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual assessments
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor their effectiveness
