Job Description
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a very part-time position in a K-12 educational setting located in Seattle, WA. This role encompasses providing essential communication support to students, tailored to their individual needs, for 2-5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of therapy techniques and best practices in speech-language pathology
Location: Seattle, WA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual assessments
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor their effectiveness
