An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional to contribute to the growth and development of students in a K-12 educational setting. This full-time contract position for a professional is tailored for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, focusing on providing essential communication support to elementary and high school students.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Previous experience managing a diverse caseload
Location:
- Seattle, WA
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student well-being
