An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to support early childhood education through specialized speech-language services. This position is designed for individuals passionate about enhancing communication skills in young children, particularly within a preschool setting.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood populations
- Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to a PK (3-5 year old) caseload
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Location:
- Seward, NE
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Conduct therapy sessions in accordance with IEP requirements
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative educational environment
