An opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Simpsonville, SC. This role involves working closely with children to enhance their communication skills, focusing on various grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina educator certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in primary and elementary settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other specialists
Location: Simpsonville, SC
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' communication needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and relevant documentation
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions, adapting techniques to meet diverse needs
