Job Description
An opportunity is available for skilled professionals specializing in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. This position focuses on providing support to students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade, enabling them to overcome communication barriers and achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide direct speech therapy services and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
- Familiarity with the challenges faced by K-12 students regarding speech and language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
