Job Description
An opportunity exists for skilled professionals to support students across various grade levels in a K-12 educational setting located in Spring, TX. This role involves working directly with students to enhance their communication skills and address individual needs through tailored therapeutic practices.
Qualifications:
- Texas State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CF (Clinical Fellow) status; Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) with public school experience will also be considered
- Experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students
- Knowledge of speech and language assessment and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location: Spring, TX (K-12 School Environment)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student requirements and outcomes
- Supervise and support Clinical Fellow candidates as needed
