A skilled professional is sought to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This contract position is based in Springfield, OR, for the duration of the school year, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on students' communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with school policies and procedures
Location: Springfield, OR
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
- Monitor and document students' progress through ongoing evaluations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with established plans
