Job Description
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a contract position during the extended school year, catering to high school students. This role focuses on providing targeted communication support to a diverse caseload of 7th to 12th-grade students.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY)
- Experience in a school setting, particularly with high school-aged students
- Proficient in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff
Location: Stamford, CT
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to enhance students communication skills
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Conduct sessions in a supportive and engaging learning environment
