A dynamic opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in Staten Island, NY, for a contract position within a K-12 school setting. This role focuses on providing essential communication support to students, ensuring their educational needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
  • Active New York Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary and middle school students.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team of professionals.

Location: Staten Island, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored speech and language therapy plans.
  • Provide direct and indirect services as outlined in student IEPs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of sessions and progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow SLPs and educational staff to support student success.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and necessary interventions.
