Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Clinical Fellows in Year (SLP-CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
- Ability to develop tailored education plans
Location:
- Sterling Heights, MI
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Offer direct therapy services to students with identified speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective support
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
