Job Description
A part-time position is available for a specialist, dedicated to supporting students in a school setting located in Stuart, FL. This role spans the K-8th grade levels, focusing on providing essential communication services to enhance student learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC/CFY)
- Active Florida state licensure as a SLP
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location: Stuart, FL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' overall development
