Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Valid state licensure or credential as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferred
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process

Location: Suffolk, VA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to the assigned caseload
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication needs
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions
• Engage parents and guardians in understanding their child's progress and needs
