Seeking a skilled professional to provide essential support in an elementary school setting. This full-time position is based in Summerville, SC, and focuses on addressing the needs of students with speech and language disorders for the duration of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Location: Summerville, SC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy to students with identified speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with families
