An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled candidate seeking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students. This position involves providing specialized support and services to a diverse caseload within a single school site, allowing for focused and dynamic interactions with approximately 30 students.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services.
- Provide direct therapy to students on your caseload, using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
- Facilitate group sessions to encourage social communication skills among peers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
