An exciting opportunity awaits for skilled SLPs looking to make a significant impact in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Tacoma, WA, and extends from September 2, 2025, to June 12, 2026. The role involves working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, addressing a variety of speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Certified SLP with a focus on school settings
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience working with K-12 students, demonstrating effective intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work in a team-oriented environment
Location: Tacoma, WA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Implement therapy plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student outcomes
