Job Description

Contract Type: Part-Time (4 hours a week) Education Level: K-12

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled teletherapist to provide valuable services in a K-12 educational setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language support to students, ensuring they receive the guidance needed to thrive in their academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, using evidence-based practices to enhance their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to track student progress and make necessary adjustments to interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student assessments, progress, and services provided.
  • Stay updated on best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Valid state licensure and certification to practice in a K-12 setting.
  • Experience with a diverse student population and familiarity with assistive technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and families.
